It’s that time of year again. No, not the holiday spirit, but the blogosphere spirit where everyone turns in their top albums of the year list. We’ve never been one to make lists. Hell, we’re not really too deep into the whole “album” spirit. With that in mind, we’ve created a list of some of our top singles of this year. There are obviously plenty others that we love, but most of them are here because we posted about them on the site. Of course we love the Adeles, Florence and The Machines, and Radioheads of the 2011 music year. It’d be crazy not to. Check out some of our favorite tracks of 2011:

M83 – “Midnight City”

Gotye – “Somebody That I Used To Know”

Penguin Prison – “Don’t Fuck With My Money”

Monarchy – “Maybe I’m Crazy”

As if I need to explain the title, Kanye and Jay-Z performed their biggest hit from Watch The Throne, “Niggas in Paris,” live at the VS Fashion Show.

If you really didn’t have a reason to watch models in bikinis, you missed out on Jay, Yey, and Beyonce.

New MP3: Kanye West and Jay-Z: “Otis”

Kanye West + Jay-Z + Otis Redding = Must-listen music. Jay-Z and Kanye West sample Otis Redding’s “Try a Little Tenderness” in their forthcoming album entitled, Watch The Throne.

You can stream the track here on Jay’s Life + Times website. You can also download the track below.

Watch the Throne is out August 1 digitally and August 5 physically, According to USA Today.

A little flair from Beyonce and the traditional rap from Outkast’s Andre 3000 makes “Party” a hit. Beyonce loyalists won’t be disappointed with this charming, funky track. “Party” was produced by Kanye West and Consequence and features a sample of Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh’s flamboyant early hip hop classic “La Di Da Di.””Party” is a track of her forthcoming album, 4. Check it out:

“You a bad girl and your friend’s bad too/ You got the swag sauce, you drippin’ swagu.”

Mixtape: Pusha T – Fear of God

Whoa! It’s been a while since we’ve posted here on the site. I know we have taken a sort of nose dive since our last giveaway, but I’m back and more energized than ever now that I finished my Winter quarter in school. I’m on spring break and with the constant raining it seems like I might just stay in bed all week long. That’s a good thing for you guys: We get to place more music content on the site and I can gear up for our next giveaway.

With that out of the way, Pusha T has come out of SXSW in Texas on fire with some G.O.O.D. music and now a new mixtape. It’s a highly anticipated mixtape that features collabs with Kanye West, Rick Ross, and 50 Cent. That’s the kind of power you get once your signed to a music label like Kanye’s.

There isn’t a bigger music event in California than the Coachella Music and Arts Festival. This year’s Coachella event draws big interest from music lovers as it packs some of the biggest names in music headlining the show: Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, The Strokes, and Kanye West. Other bands and artists set to perform include Interpol, Mumford & Sons, The National, and Eliza Doolittle (I just had to) among others.

You might not know every band or artist playing, so everyday until Coachella (April 15-17), we will be bringing music from one band/artist who will be performing at Coachella. There are 85 days left until Coachella and at least one bad/artist will be covered each day.

For our first Countdown to Coachella post, we have Cut Copy:
