I’m a sucker for covers. I’m also a sucker for cute UK chicks. With that in mind, there’s no surprise that I absolutely love Ellie Goulding and her cover of The Knife’s “Heartbeats” from 2003′s Deep Cuts, which was also covered in acoustics by Jose Gonzales. You guys might remember her from BBC Radio when she covered and completely turned Rihanna’s “Only Girl” into one of the best covers I’ve heard in some time. Check it out:

New MP3! Hoodie Allen – “NY Is Killing Me”

New track from Hoodie. This time he goes over Jamie XX and Gil Scott-Heron’s “NY Is Killing Me.” The track has a dark, and creepy beat to it, but that kind of defines a “sick” beat, right? I like it. It’s definitely different from anything from his previous mixtape, The Pep Rally.

Mixtape: Pac Div – Mania

The west coast rap group, Pac Div, seem to be on the right path to full exposure. Hosted by Don Cannon, Mania features collabs with Sir Michael Rock of The Cool Kids, Casey Veggies, BJ The Chicago Kid, and Ty$. Check out my favorite track from Mania and click after the jump for the tracklist and download link:

Oh, my. I cannot stop drooling over this cover.

New MP3: The Good Natured – Wolves

I’m a new fan of Sarah McIntosh’s The Good Natured. The English singer is working on a EP coming out in June and she just released a new track.

In every society, we find people who are bored with their daily routines, getting up, going to work, and coming home again. ‘Wolves’ is about escapism, leaving the mundane normality of every day life and entering a new world, whether it be a fantasy or a reality.

Also, check out another track from The Good Natured titled “Your Body Is A Machine” after the jump:

The Wombats – Moving to New York

If I had to describe the Wombats in two words, I would simply say: “Brilliantly Fun”. The band has a vibrant energy reminiscent of site-favorite TDCC and plenty of catchy tunes to boot in their debut album The Wombats Proudly Present: A Guide to Love, Loss, and Desperation. Native to Liverpool, The Wombats are a fairly new band with only one studio album and a couple of singles out. Be sure to check out This Modern Glitch set to be released in the U.K. in April.

Video! Eliza Doolittle- Mr. Medicine

Eliza Doolittle’s music video for Mr. Medicine has been out for a few weeks now but VEVO had blocked it in the US until now. Mr. Medicine is a track off Eliza’s self-titled debut album, Eliza Doolittle. She brings out Gingerbread, Yo! Gabba Gabba, Mario Mario, Pikachu, and even a few creatures from Where The Wild Things are. Ha. No, really, check it out.

Also, be sure to check out her visuals for “Skinny Genes” after the jump.
