Little Comets – “Worry”

The Little Comets are back at it again with the debut of their new single, “Worry.” The single is the first off Little Comets’ upcoming EP,  ‘Worry EP,’ which is due out December 12th. The band’s famed “afro-jack swag” does its beauty while being consonant to track’s chorus hook. It’s the best of two (music) worlds. It’s bands like Little Comets that makes me enjoy posting music almost daily.

The video is a montage of footage from their previous October tour and brings light into the world that looks up for Little Comets.

General Fiasco is a band that is fairly new to me. Though, ever since Two Door Cinema Club (I know, I know–I compare to them so much but I can’t help it) came in to my life a couple of years ago, I can’t help but instantly love anything that comes out from the U.K. Damn these Irish bastards with their good looks and good music. This is seriously the indie-pop tune that, to me, has become iconic of these groups. It’s simply too joyful to let go.

General Fiasco have released their first video to their sophomore album titled ‘Waves‘ which is due out November 14. The video is of their forthcoming single,  the lead and title track from their forthcoming EP.

Prints is a series of singles, remixes, and videos that Brooklyn-based Alan Wilkis has been working on for nearly two years. Each “print” features collaborations with different vocalists: Childish Gambino, Lyrics Born, White Hinterland, and more. Wilkis’ goal was to draw each artist out of their comfort zone to create a piece of work that is unmatched.

His first “print” features The Kickdrums; whom he’s co-produced their recent album, Meet Your Ghost. The print takes The Kickdrums sound to new heights and that’s what Wilkis is trying to do. He slowed down the track, but it still felt as if everything was passing you by so fast. I say he mastered it.

MP3: Some Childish Gambino Flows

Donald Glover’s rap project that is Childish Gambino is killer. He takes a deep breath, starts his flow, ends his verse, and then takes another breath. He’s full-steam at all times.

Mr. Gambino has released two tracks of his upcoming project entitled CAMP which is due out in November. The first track is “Bonfire” that has a  Weezy; 6’7′ flow all throughout and another record titled “All The Shine.” Yesterday, he brought out a freestyle to keep you over until the album comes out. New MP3: XV – “Boss Level” Feat. Skrillex

What do you get when you put a little of the Vizzy Zone and some dubstep? “Boss Level,” of course. Count me in as a someone who didn’t think these two would ever put out a track together. I’m actually kind of surprised how well the electro house bass complements XV’s flow.

Skrillex’s production over ” Scare Monsters And Nice Spirits” is actually great. Vizzy just dropped this out of nowhere over on his Tumblr so there’s no word if this will be on Vizzy Zone.
