Chiddy Bang and co. have dropped another track off their Peanut Butter & Swelly mixtape which is due out on Friday. The new track is filled with a melodic flow over a sample of The Knocks. It’s the second time they’ve sampled The Knocks but this one involves more of the Chiddy flow we’ve all accustomed to hearing from the group. Check out the trailer for Peanut Butter & Swelly HERE.

Chiddy Bang have kicked off the jelly and added the swelly in this trailer for their highly-anticipated mixtape Peanut Butter & Swelly. It’s only fitting that they name their mixtape that, because, well, they go together like peanut butter and jelly. I’m not one to post teasers or trailers but Chiddy Bang is just pretty much amazing and trailer features a new track off the tape. The mixtape drops May 27th on illRoots.

New MP3: Wale – “So What” (Feat. Mac Miller)

After connecting with Chiddy Bang the other day, Mac Miller is up with the big boys now in Wale. Just last week Wale hit up Twitter to find Miller and today we get this gem from the two. Just imagine what they could do with a full summer of (more) No Days Off. Wale and Mac Miller, say what?

Wale – So What Ft. Mac Miller

You know I’m always up on that Chiddy Bang. Chiddy and Xaphoon Jones collab with Mac Miller for this smooth joint. I’m not sure if this is a tease for Chiddy Bang’s Breakfast due out this summer. You can catch Chiddy Bang on tour during the Bamboozle Roadshow starting next month. If you’re up in LA, give us a shout on May 19th, we’ll be there.

Mixtape: G-Eazy “The Outsider”

As a music blogger, I go through tons of music from artists and bands that either email or tell me to check them out via Twitter. I appreciate that, by the way. Most of the time the rappers can’t rap, the singers can’t sing, and the bands just suck. But, the other day, I spotted some gold. I’m a sucker for hip-hop artists sampling indie in a Chiddy Bang-esque way. G-Eazy puts the West Coast hip-hop style in an East Cost form. Just imagine Pac Div and a mellow Pharrell.
It’s easy

It’s been a long week for me. I’m extremely tired. I didn’t even post anything about the Grammys either. I’ll have something up later tonight that’s more well thought-out. For now, here’s PMA’s take on Chiddy Bangs just-released new track:

You know we’re still up on some Chiddy Bang shit.

Here is another new Chiddy Bang outtake (after last week’s wickedly awesome “Rebel”) that won’t make it to the debut album, The Swelly Life, out later this year. “Baby Roulette” features a hook from none other than Train — most likely known by

I missed this yesterday because the Dear Song In My Head had its first ever meeting. We have a lot planned for the near future.

Xaphoon Jones leaked this song out after gaining 10K followers on Twitter. It’s about time some new Chiddy Bang came out. Xaphoon and Chiddy are at their best when they remix indie-pop tunes or sample classics and “Rebel” is no different. “Rebel” won’t be on their next album, The Swelly Life, but it’s good to see they’re still on some dope stuff.
