If there’s one thing you should come to expect once summer hits, it’s that The Knock are sure to put another summer anthem. Neon Gold had been teasing about this track for a while now, and it was definitely worth the wait. The Knocks teamed up with LA’s own Powers (Crista Ru) to smash together this feel-good track.

The Knocks and St. Lucia together have to make for one of the best records of the year, undoubtedly. St. Lucia have been delivering on all the hype from 2012, but they this connection with The Knocks is probably one of the finest gems from the band.
Easily, The Knocks make any song a pleasure to listen to. They stick to what they do best and it shows song in and song out.
The Knocks, with their heavy hitting dose of electro-pop-indie, have dropped another track that’s full of eargasmic sound. For some reason, it seems like they always bring out something dope on Mondays.
It’s that time of year again. No, not the holiday spirit, but the blogosphere spirit where everyone turns in their top albums of the year list. We’ve never been one to make lists. I was just about to call this a lazy day for music. It is Missy Elliot’s birthday and all, but the Summer time isn’t meant for hip-hop. Actually, I’m lying. Mick Boogie and DJ Jazzy Jeff are dropping their second Summertime mixtape tomorrow and I’m stoked. I don’t know where I’m going with this post.
