If there’s one pop hip-hop band that I would have to record a theme song of my life, it would be 2AM Club. 2AM Club’s catchy tunes, and lead-singer Marc’s voice make more an awesome track. Here’s a new track that Marc debut through the band’s Twitter.
There’s no surprise that many rappers release their music on Twitter, but many have followed suit in releasing tracks when they reach a certain number of followers. Xaphoon Jones, Hoodie Allen, and XV have released their share of tracks and it’s not the first time Mac Miller has done the same. For reach 400K Twitter followers, Mac Miller released this new track that samples The Temper Trap’s “Love Lost.” I’m loving this wave of hip-hop sampling indie bands.
I missed this yesterday because the Dear Song In My Head had its first ever meeting. We have a lot planned for the near future.
Xaphoon Jones leaked this song out after gaining 10K followers on Twitter. It’s about time some new Chiddy Bang came out. Xaphoon and Chiddy are at their best when they remix indie-pop tunes or sample classics and “Rebel” is no different. “Rebel” won’t be on their next album, The Swelly Life, but it’s good to see they’re still on some dope stuff.
