Two Door Cinema Club Debut Two New Songs At Bonnaroo Festival
There are two things that will always remain constant on this blog: My love for Eliza Doolittle and the non-stop listening to Two Door Cinema Club. If you watched Two Door Cinema Club perform at Bonnaroo via Youtube like me or were at the show, you may have caught two new songs that will debut in TDCC’s next album.
As you know, they basically spent months in a cave (or studio, whichever sounds cooler) and didn’t come out until they were finished. They’ve been playing a few of their new songs since finishing the record but we finally have a peek at what new material they will bring.
The first song, “Wake Up,” has the classic Two Door vibe filled with guitar synths and backed by Alex’ amazing voice. If I were to compare it to another TDCC song, it’d be between “Something Good Can Work” and “Kids.” “Kids” is one of my favorite songs from the band so, take my word, it is pretty badass.

The next song is “Settles.” This is a much more mellow track. Still dope.

I’ve gotten used to both of these songs since I’ve had them for a while, but if you’re new to them, they’ll obviously give you that ‘new material’ feeling at first. Sure enough, though, you’ll be singing and dancing in no time.
And if you want more, I’ve already posted about some of their other unreleased songs HERE.
