Whenever I listen to music, I like to know the story behind the song. Reason is because we all go through the same things and music helps with coping with any situation. In other words, it helps me understand whatever situation I may go through, but let’s not forget that we also listen to music to get ourselves hyped up for the day. I love their music not because it’s gloomy but because it’s honest. We all know we want that.

Bon Iver is soon to release their self-titled sophomore album next month. The smooth music along with gloomy lyrics seem like a continuation of their first album, For Emma, Forever Ago.  Lyrically, the album is gold but musically, I can’t say much because I’ve only caught a glimpse of , ‘Calgary’ off the album.
