I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a fool for sweet love songs. The kind of song that can make you wonder when and how you even began liking a significant other. Nobody likes admitting they’re mushy but let’s face it, we eat that up like chocolate cake.

A few months back, before I deployed, I wrote a piece on this hardworking band. Since I can catch up on music again, I decided to give them another listen to see what this band had to say. They keep me hooked with every beat and lyric. It’s as if they manage to say what you have longed to say to that one special girl or boy. I’m writing this as I sit next to the girl who currently makes me mushy and Vacationer certainly is making me appreciate her even more. For some it might be ineffable to understand; It’s okay, we all get there one day.
