New MP3: Chiddy Bang – “Baby Roulette”
It’s been a long week for me. I’m extremely tired. I didn’t even post anything about the Grammys either. I’ll have something up later tonight that’s more well thought-out. For now, here’s PMA’s take on Chiddy Bangs just-released new track:
You know we’re still up on some Chiddy Bang shit.
Here is another new Chiddy Bang outtake (after last week’s wickedly awesome “Rebel”) that won’t make it to the debut album, The Swelly Life, out later this year. “Baby Roulette” features a hook from none other than Train — most likely known by your Mom or younger sister by the guys who sing “Hey Soul Sister.” Chiddy Bang beatsmith and sample extroidaire, Xaphoon Jones tells us that “Roulette” is a “silly song in honor of [Train winning at] the Grammys” — but that doesn’t slow Proto down or stop him from delivering some killer bars. Check it out below:
I feel extremely lazy so I had to quote PMA since they have an outstanding staff.
