New Artist: Fez – Low Light
You know that first song you listen to from a band you have never heard of? It’s the biggest first impression. It doesn’t matter whether they have the most creative name or a thousand half-naked women on their profile pictures, if the first song sucks, they suck. That’s not the case for Fez. I listened to this for the first time a few days ago and it was mandatory to put it on my playlist. Few other bands have had that power. I don’t care if the rest of their album isn’t up to par with “Low Light,” anything half as good as is still good.
This indie-rock band from London has a hint of Phoenix with summertime-vocals meshed in a guitar-filled tune that they can call their own. Check more of Fez on their MySpace and download “Low Light” for all of your listening pleasures.
