Natalie McCool – “Wind Blows Harder”
Ahead of her UK tour, Natalie McCool has released a brand new single called, “Wind Blows Harder.”
Winner of Female Artist of the Year 2013 (Liverpool Music Awards), Natalie McCool is a singular voice surrounded by a constellation of guitar; shifting from delicate fingerstyle beginnings to chorus drenched Johnny Marr-esque riffing. Her childhood years spent drawing together a fine fabric of influences from Jeff Buckley, Cocteau Twins, PJ Harvey & The Stone Roses, McCool rose up, and with a daggers aim, unleashed an enthralling sonic panorama that dislocates you into its gravity, delivered with absolute conviction. Natalie is lauded by every single music luminary that crosses her path- including recent acclaim from BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq, BBC Radio 2’s Dermot O’Leary, and founding editor of Mojo magazine, Paul Du Noyer – who described her live performance as ‘spectral’. A burgeoning career so far has seen Natalie perform at Hyde Park to an audience of 120,000, and also recently record a live 4 track EP in London’s Abbey Road Studios.‘Wind Blows Harder’ will be released on June 16th on Young & Lost Club. www.nataliemccool.co.uk www.facebook.com/nataliemccoolofficial www.youtube.com/nataliemccoolmusic www.twitter.com/nataliemccool
