Usually about every two-three days I get hooked on a particular song, band/artist or genre. It’s the nature of my ever-changing moods about music and, well, there’s always new music coming out every day. The past month and a half I’ve been away from music so much. I’ve just stuck to hip-hop which I’ll never, ever get tired of. So, I wanted to start something to share what I’ve been hooked on recently. I won’t share the most common bands/artists that we’ve continuously posted on the site before because there’s so much more out there that many of you may not have listened to, yet.

For this post, I wanted to share a track that barely came out a few days ago and is catching a lot of attention in the blogosphere.  That is XXXY’s “I Know This (Can’t Be Love).” It reminds me of Rob Dougan’s “Clubbed To Death” (Yeah, I recently watched The Matrix) with a little more subtleness to it. It’s like one of those songs from Dance Dance Revolution when you pick a song from the beginner’s level because you like the song. This is that song.

British producer XXXY’s pop-soul sample is very catching and will have you listening throughout the weekend. The song will be released two weeks from now in an EP titled Everything.
