Random Reader Post: The Postal Service + In Dying Arms
I love the readers of the site. We may not have the best music, but we do have the best fans. They always come through in the clutch when I ask for a Random Reader Post. I don’t even know why exactly it’s called that, but who cares? As long as they give us some dope tracks to post, I’ll keep doing it.
This time around we have two tracks two post:
Requested by our reader Zack: The Postal Service is an indie-pop band composed of Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie and producer Jimmy Tamborello of Dntel. If you haven’t heard of them before, it’s alright. They really only got to produce one complete album before their main gigs with each respective band took over their schedule. It’s been years since talks of the two reuniting to finish another album have risen, but it’s all good when we have memories like “Nothing Better.”

Next we have In Dying Arms, a deathcore act from Baltimore, MD. They formed in 2006 after splitting up from other bands and released their first EP back in 2009, and their first full-length album in July of last year. They are currently working on an LP but other than that, I have nothing else to say about this band. Our reader Robert showed us this band and they’re pretty badass. I didn’t expect to receive any Deathcore but when we’ve had THIS requested, anything is possible. Though, make sure to check out their Facebook. They’re pretty fucking badass if I didn’t already mention that.
