Talk about old school! I remember hearing Matt Pond PA for the first time during an episode of the O.C. back in 2004. The song was “New Hampshire” from their fifth album, Emblems. Ever since then, I have yet to find another group that is similar to their unique mix of acoustic and electric guitars.

With over six albums and an entire decade’s worth of musical experience, Matt Pond PA is still going strong with their latest album entitled, The Dark Leaves. With its earthy tones and eclectic mix of cellos, banjos, acoustic guitars, and keyboards; The Dark Leaves makes you feel like you’re lost in a forest in the middle of Pennsylvania.
